Emergency First Aid: First Aid and CPR

DURATION: 8 hours

Course Overview

Accidents can occur anytime and at any place. Whether you are at home, at work, traveling or on vacation, an accident can change everything in a matter of seconds. Knowledge of CPR and First Aid can mean the difference between life and death in such a situation.

Especially it is essential for Health Care and Education providers.

Heart attacks, strokes, or convulsions have a way of sneaking up on us without warning. Each passing minute after collapsing from a Cardiac Arrest can reduce the chance of survival by as much as 10% so knowing what to do is critical. Even if we want to intervene to reduce the effect of a burn, fracture, or allergic reaction, you need to know what to do. Knowing First Aid and CPR will place you in a position where you can take responsible, appropriate action in an emergency.

Our instructors will teach you:

  • How to get help
  •
  • Airway and Breathing Emergencies
  •
  • Cardiovascular Emergencies
  •
  • CPR/AED
  •
  • Bleeding and Shock
  •
  • How to check for other illnesses and Injures
  •
